Christina Brockie

I grew up in Dunedin in the lower South Island, as a family we would travel around the South Island camping and exploring its natural beauty which I still do to this day. I like to share my lifetime knowledge of New Zealand with my travellers and make you fall in love with New Zealand as well.
I specialise in creating the perfect New Zealand holiday to suit you, from hiking in the outdoors to relaxing on wine tours, my wide variety of knowledge will help create your perfect holiday, so tell me more about you, what you enjoy doing when travelling, what you are interests are, and I will use this to create your perfect custom itinerary.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"New Zealand has so much to offer that I try to not specialise in anything particular. My knowledge is so broad from snorkelling, skiing, museums, history. However my favourite location is the West Coast of the South Island, with its natural diversity from Rainforests to untouched beaches and glaciers, I like to enjoy our great outdoors and love to show this off to my travellers as well. "

How did you get involved in travel?

" I decided to complete my final year of high school as an international exchange student in Switzerland and after a year abroad I came back to New Zealand wanting to help others explore the world. I then realised the passion I had for New Zealand and wanted to show the world what we had to offer when an opportunity to join the team in Wanaka and specialise in arranging New Zealand holidays arose, I jumped at the chance. 5 years later the passion for showing off New Zealand has not changed."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I arranged a short road trip along the West Coast of the South Island to enjoy its wild and remote wilderness. Joining a small tour north of Punakaiki, I travelled into the West Coast rainforest via a small unique train, we hiked into the cave in our wetsuits, hardhats, and headlamps whilst carrying our inner tubes to explore the stalagmites and stalactites of the natural cave system before floating out of the cave on a tube under the glistening glow worms. The day was topped off exploring the region and finding some remnants of my ancestors in the small gold mining region."

We enjoyed our trip of a lifetime thanks to the help of Christina. She listened and planned a trip that was perfect for our preferences and also the pace of travel. Our bike trips were fabulous...although now we are hooked on pedal assisted e-bikes! The Dunston Bike Trail is amazing. The helicopter landing on Franz Josef as well was over the top! We couldn't have asked for a better trip. read more

The Big Day Out

It's a hard ride...not for the faint of heart. Be sure to bring your own food and water...there's nothing on the trail. But a beautiful way to see the landscape!

Hotel Review
Silver Fern Accommodation & Spa
Rotorua

Disappointed, 3 of us and only 1 bed. Sofa bed was old and not comfortable and the roll away was a joke, mattress was maybe an inch thick. Hotel blamed Christine for not making correct reservation, but how is it all the other hotels had it perfect 4 adults=4 beds, 3 adults=3 beds.
