Eloise Le Bout

I have been living in Auckland, New Zealand for more than three years. What made me fall in love right from day one was not only the beautiful wildlife and breathtaking scenery, but also the friendly and welcoming locals. New Zealand is to me a hidden gem that people should explore!

I know very well that everyone has their own very specific reason to travel. Some travel to grow, some travel to meet new people, some travel to relax and unwind, some travel to celebrate. I am here to make sure the very reason you are travelling for is met. I enjoy creating made-to-measure travels to meet all the travellers' expectations, so I can be sure this trip will be a success.

My goal in this is to make sure you have the best time in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Thanks to my expertise and knowledge of the country, I will do my very best to make your stay unforgettable.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in self-driving tailored travels, from mid-range to luxury, depending on the traveller's wishes and requests. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"As far as I can remember, I have always been attracted to travelling. But I think what really made the difference is when my brother decided to go and live abroad, shortly followed by my sister. Hearing their stories really sparked something in me, and I eventually decided to try it myself. This was the best decision I have taken. Travelling is a wonderful experience in so many different aspects, from discovering gorgeous places and sharing stories with interesting people, to learning a new language, and immersing yourself in a new culture. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Shortly after moving to New Zealand, I moved into a big house where 8 people were already flatting. Luckily we all got along very well. Most of them were big fans of hiking and outdoor adventure, and would always try to organise hikes during the weekend. I will never forget this day we went on a waterfall hike, via a hidden track in the Waitakere Ranges, walking up the river for a good 4 hours, then climbing up the side of the waterfall. Such a great adventure!"

Thanks to Eloise for planning our wonderful trip thru New Zealand. The highlight of our trip was staying at the Matuka Lodge in Twizel(Mount Cook). The flight over the glaciers were beyond memorable. The whole itinerary was very well planned and everything went smoothly. Thanks for all the recommendations. Till the next time.

what was planned by Eloise our guide, was brilliantly put together. I had an idea of the places where to go and with a little tinkering between ourselves Eloise came up with, for us, a perfect tour. Everything was smooth from the moment we were picked up at the airport, to the moment we were dropped off for our return. Knowing that everything was booked and paid for when we arrived at each accommodation, and tour meant there was never a concern with any payments. The only thing we had to concern ourselves with and put our hand in our pocket for was where to get something to eat and drink on each day. The only blip was that our trip to Milford Sound was cancelled due to bad weather, but the weather is beyond anyone's control.
Highlights for us was Lake Tarawera and the thermal beach, Akaroa for penguin watching, which turned out to be a quaint little town also, and whale watching in Kaikoura to which the company concerned upgraded us to a helicopter flight so we had an added bonus to boot.
All in all the tour Eloise put together for us was just what we wanted and if I am ever to go back to New Zealand, I know who I will contact; Eloise, watch out for my next call !

Thanks a lot Michael for this very kind review. I am so glad you and Balbinita enjoyed New Zealand, and your trip that much. And what a lucky surprise for you to have had a free upgrade from our partner in Kaikoura, for your flight over the whales.
I will watch our for your next call then :), and hopefully next time you visit, the weather at Milford Sound will be welcoming!
