Kiri Braid

My travel career began in the eighties on a double decker bus in the countryside of Europe cooking Chinese Food for passengers from Hong Kong. It wasn’t long before I found myself on the Gold Coast , a destination I fell in love with. I have extensive experience in both outbound and inbound tourism, with a definite love for authentic travel experiences. I like building genuine relationships with my clients, guests and suppliers and love the opportunity to share the Australasian experience to develop unique itineraries.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I have had much experience in all levels of touring from small to large, families to groups. I like to understand my clients need before providing a final itinerary. There is nothing better than developing a new itinerary on a road less travelled."

How did you get involved in travel?

"It all started in London working on a double decker bus travelling around Europe. These foundations have led to a long and positive career in travel."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Traveling in to Uzbekistan and taking some time in the magical city of Khiva. I had read about the destination and the carpet making people and how it has been reinvigorated by sustainable travel practices with the local people. It lived up to all my expectations. "
