Hello there! Planning to come to South America? Then I'm your contact here, I'll be super happy to help you plan your trip!

I have been part of the sales team at Trips SouthAmerica for the last 10 years and I keep the same pleasure to show the beauty of these countries as it was the very first day.

My mission is to create experiences and advise future travelers to guarantee an excellent adventure in South America.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I like to specialize on what you are needing. If I don't have the knowledge, I'll investigate how's the best way to give you what you are looking for. I like to tailor made experiences: hiking in Patagonia, biking & kayaking on the Lakes District, wine tastings in Mendoza and Santiago de Chile, glamping, homestays or top luxury..."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I have always been attracted to languages and cultures and with the pass of the time I felt in love with our landscapes and people. Tourism was, then, a perfect combination to join my two passions. Since many years now I have the pleasure to show my region to the rest of the world."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Some years ago we had the opportunity to welcome a high profile minister from the Middle East, we really learnt a lot about their culture in order to adapt our manners and procedures to their conservative requirements. It was a very interesting process that turned out to be both educative and also a great success, the entourage party had a really good time in our country."

Our Buenos Aires team, tour guide Andrea and driver Fabio, went out of their way to make our few days there memorable. We felt we made some true friendships and had a glimpse of authentic Argentina.
The Explora Hotel experience was one of our most memorable experiences. We didn't understand how it worked, but the all-inclusive experience was fantastic.
Our transition in Puenta Arenas was a bit more confusing. We didn't get timely notification of our transportation arrangements, and the Rey Don Felipe Hotel had us in a tiny room, with no window and a shower in the corner of the room. However, any time we reached out to the tour concierge service, we got a quick response and solution, if needed.
We will use the Kim-Kim platform again.

From the moment you are greeted at the door, to the moment you leave, everything you can imagine is taken care of. The sleek styling and unbelievable view have you feeling transported to paradise. The individual planning of all the activities that are offered help with that overwhelmed feeling of how to explore this massive national park. The food was delicious and copious and the rooms, simple but luxurious at the same time.

Hotel Alma Sur (Rey Don Felipe)
Punta Arenas

Large hotel, with a dated decor. Common spaces were minimal. We were given a very small room big enough for a queen bed (mattress was marginal) and two small night tables, a small desk, and the bathroom sink was in the room. A 3x3 shower was tucked in an alcove; the toilet in a small closet. No room for suitcases. It was an interior room off a small bricked outside place, so the shade was down. I expect there are other rooms of a more standard quality available. We made do for one night.

Ushuaia

Top notch hotel, with grand styling and top-of-the-hill views! Rooms were standard, with large bathrooms. We had a rear-view room but given that you can look out onto the Beagle Channel from all other locations, it wasn't a problem. We love the outdoor heated infinity pool. There is a regular shuttle available if you want to explore the town.

The best experience we had in Argentina. Pablo was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The food was delicious. A bottle of Malbec was served for every meal. It was really neat to see the traditional dances and music of the pampas region. We really enjoyed the horseback riding and sunset walks across the estancia.

Capricornio Expediciones has done a great job from communicating to taking care of us during the experience. They are very reliable! And I like them because they did not go behind travel agency back and tried to steal clients from travel agency (by telling us to book straight with them to save 2/3 of the cost).

Paloma was amazing, she is knowledgeable, responsible, reliable and very energetic. She helped us enjoy the Atacama to the fullest

I'm glad you had a nice time with us in Chile I hope to have the opportunity to arrange another trip for you in the near future either in Chile or Argentina. Pity the weather in the south ruined your plans for the Marble Caves, but nature is unpredictable, more out of season :(

I had a great experience with Kimkim thanks to Leandro. I had to book all the details of a trip to El Chalten and El Calafate within 24 hours of take-off during high season. There was very little hotel and tour availability, and the these destinations and tours also can require a significant amount of complicated ground transportation, with required tour guide coordination to allow entry into Glacier National Park. Leandro was able to get me a private room in each location, and book me with an amazing all-day mini trekking tour of Perito Moreno Glacier, complete with crampons and mandatory tour guide for glacier trekking, along with all necessary bus transportation to the destinations. I tried booking hotels last minute from the US while at the airport but many El Chalten hotels don’t have self-booking enabled on their websites. I first left a message for Kimkim Sunday night as I was about to board my flight to Buenos Aires from JFK. By the time I landed in EZE Buenos Aires, Kimkim had connected me to Leandro and he had already worked out 90% of the details of my trip. Working with Leandro was such a relief and allowed me to enjoy my very short last minute trip stress-free and to the fullest.
Highly recommend.

El Chalten

Great place to stay. Kind of rustic rooms as are most places in Chalten. They offer great support services for hiking (helpful trail reviews and guidance/suggestions of best trails for the day given erratic weather conditions) and they offer a packed lunch service which is great if you’re on the go and don’t have time to grocery shop. Wifi is insufficient during wind storms (super frequent) and also when the hotel is full (afternoons and evenings after hiking). Wifi is ok early AM and late night when people are offline and on nights when it is not extremely windy. Very nice lobby with bar.
